Windows 9 ‘Threshold’ will be available for download in April 2015

Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 comes pre-installed on most of the new Windows Devices and the company is already working on a new update for Windows 8.1 users, which according to the leaked screenshots will be a minor update. But that is not the one thing on which Microsoft’s Developer team is working, recent reports suggests that Microsoft is also working on its next major version of desktop Operating System called as Windows 9.

Paul Thurrott, who is well known for revealing Microsoft Product information has recently revealed that Microsoft is planning to release its new and advance Windows 9 Operating System next year in April 2015 and the company is also expected to make an announcement at coming BUILD 2014. The Thurrott’s report also added that, Windows 9 will be a major update for Windows Operating system and it might feature “Metro 2.0″ with advance Moder User Interface.

Windows 9 is expected to have 3 milestone release before the final version. Currently there are no official details which can confirm this news. So, it will be better to wait for BUILD 2014 before getting much excited.
