HTC One X and One X+ will not get new Android Kitkat Update says HTC Officially Via Twitter

Hi Guys Sorry for this bitter news that HTC has recently announced on Twitter that its One X and One X+ Smartphones will be now be on their current version of Android and will not get any new Android Updates. Both of these Smartphones currently running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System, so it is really a bad news for their owners.
HTC One X is now nearly two years old, so we were expecting that HTC would now prefer to stop the Android Updates for this device. However, it was surprising to see HTC One X+ on the same list, as this device was launched in October month of 2012, which isn’t even close to two years. In a statement, HTC said that:
We can confirm that the HTC One X and One X+ will not receive further Android OS updates beyond Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5. We realize this news will be met with disappointment by some, but our customers should feel confident that we have designed both devices to be optimized with our amazing camera and audio experiences.
But don’t worry Owners of both these smartphones  are blessed with custom ROMS available for your device. You can use them to get the new Android KitKat OS on your device but keep in mind that flashing custom ROMS may brick your device..
